What’s the job?
You’ll be responsible for partial order fulfillment and new product development. You will scan the order queue for the garments you’re responsible for, then follow construction instructions to complete the garments. You’ll wrap and package your completed orders and deliver them to your local post office once a week. You’ll be responsible for reporting your supply inventory bi-weekly and participating in weekly team video calls. You’ll also assist in new product development making technical flats, tech packs, patterning, plotting, cutting, and sewing.
What you’ll need?
- Clean and secure workspace.
- Sewing machine
- Experience sewing, patterning, plotting, Computer Assisted Design (CAD design), and cutting.
- Reliable internet and transportation
How does compensation work?
You’ll be paid bi-weekly. Earnings will be a combination of base pay, reported hours, and per-garment.
- Base Pay : 1 hour per week (subject to increase based on order fulfillment volume)
- Reported Hours : Logged hours on product development tasks assigned by the Collection Manager.
- Per-garment : Paid a fixed dollar amount for each garment completed and shipped during the pay period.
How many hours per week?
5-10hrs per week. 15-30hrs per week during collection development season.
